The goal of this research project is to enhance the retargeting process from one animation to another for the artists.
Artists are currently spending extensive amounts of their time creating bone chains and ensuring that their naming conventions match, instead of being able to focus on the animation and retargeting. Additionally, users are also experiencing confusion in understanding what the next steps should be after using the retargeting tool currently.
Creating a UI that leads the artists easily through the process allowing them to automatically create bone chains for the target rig and then retarget the animation with as few clicks of a button as possible, drastically enhancing the artist's experience.

This design process were the series of steps that I took to turn our idea into our research product prototype. Even though this process might seem very linear it was ever evolving and iterative.
This process is a version of the standard UX design process which allows all the important and necessary information and data to be collected before starting the design iterations and testing the designs with users.
