This image is a sneak peak into the the Unreal Component Library that I created for DNEG.
The the VFX and feature animation industry Unreal has become an ever-growing part. For this reason, developers at companies like DNEG have started to create tools for their needs in Unreal.
Consistency is very important especially when you have several different tools in a digital content creation tool like Unreal or Maya. For this reason, I created the Unreal component library for Figma. This library allows developers to more easily test out designs without having to do it through code and this tool helps different teams to stay aligned in their designs and create consistency for the company.
Creating the UX research repository for DNEG started as a research project but was soon after picked and actualized. For this endeavour, I started by researching UX research repositories and their requirements. I then moved on to a competitor analysis of potential research repositories. Afterwards, I tested different 3rd party research repository tools to discover our company's potential needs.
Through the help of the research, we were able to determine the appropriate tool needed for the DNEG UX research repository and we were able to create the repository and introduce it to the entire Production technology team at DNEG.

During my time as a Research Assistant in the Creative Interactions Lab at Carleton University, I created a video that depicted all the incredible HCI and UX work done in the lab for their 10-year anniversary.
As part of an immersive motion graphics course, I was tasked to create a next-generation experience that will truly enhance the user's life and should be accomplishable in 10 years.
This experience had to be shown in a short film. I chose to create New Morning, a holographic morning assistant, to enhance the user's morning.
Mission X is a multi-user and -platform video game. This video game relies on teamwork to be able to get passed robots and lasers to be able to be able to access a safe.
This video game is played with 2 players online using 2 devices a computer or VR set and a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
I was the project manager for this project, I was also responsible for all the visual design, user interactions, and challenges found in the video game.
In a team of two, we conceptualized a sensor-based game from end-to-end and developed a multiplayer controller specific to the Changeling Game.
The game has a 1-vs-1 format in which one player tries to match either the colour or the shape to gain points and the other player tries to sabotage the first player to receive points.
I developed a Mobile App UI for a communications app. Once the concept was completed, I created a motion graphics video that reflected my idea for the mobile app.
Overworld is a VR video game that simulates an escape room in VR. The player has to solve puzzles in the 3D VR world and then is able to proceed using his computer.
For this project I was the user interface designer, I was also responsible for the puzzles in the video game, generating visual components for the project, and maintaining the Overworld WordPress website.
