swyvl is a start-up allowing everyone to learn and understand what it is like to be neurodiverse. This educational platform uses VR, Google Cardboard, and WebVR to create an immersive environment that simulates the experiences of a neurodiverse person. This innovative approach can be used in various ways, including for the general public that tries to understand loved ones and in big organizations to create an inclusive workspace. My focus in the company is on the structure of the overall system, looking at how all the individual components play into each other, and creating an experience that is enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, I have provided the final design decision based on user research and usability testing that I have conducted on the iterative prototypes.
As this project is still in its initial development stage, I am not able to provide an in-depth look into this project, at the time being. However, if you are interested in finding out more about this particular project, please contact me over email or LinkedIn.
